Volunteer at La Feria ATLANTA

Volunteers are an important part of La Feria ATLANTA, helping to create the look and feel of the day and keep everyone safe. Volunteers receive free admission to the event and should be at least 16 years old. Volunteers receive free admission to La Feria ATLANTA. Read the job descriptions below and apply to volunteer by sending an email to info@atravesarts.com with your name, phone number, and your preferred job and shift. Volunteers should apply by March 1. Job assignments will be confirmed by March 15.
Feria 2026 Volunteers
Please select a shift: 1:30 – 3:30 p.m. or 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Support the Chef – 3 at all times
- Fry croquetas with oversight of Chef
- Take tickets
- Serve plates of food
Photo booth – 2 people at all times
- Facilitate line traffic
- Limit time in booth
- Help people get the look before arriving at photo spot
- Collect all props after photo shoot
- Inventory props
Videographer – 1 at all times
- Record hand-held and tripod, all performances & demos
- Record hand-held guests in action at different areas and throughout day
- Transfer raw video to storage and keeps batteries charged
- Deliver all video to A Través by April 15
Kids table – 1 at all times
- Interact with kids, help with basic crafting and simple game rules
- Restock supplies
- Keep area clean and tidy
Sweeping for trash and dirty dishes – 1 at all times
- Look for empty dishes, trash on floor/ground, untidy situations
- Throw away trash and keep venue tidy
- Monitor levels of trash cans and recycle bins
- Throw out full bags and replace with clean, empty bag
Bathroom maintenance – 1 at all times
- Monitor supplies and cleanliness
- Clean up messes and restocks supplies
Ticket booth, selling – 1 at all times
- Direct guests to purchase tickets online via QR code
- Report on sales
Admission scanning – 2 at all times
- Check off names of guest list as they enter
- Give out wristbands and food tickets to guests
Load-in/load-out and/or strike – Please select a shift, 12 – 2 p.m. or 5 – 7 p.m.
- Carry light to heavy items
- Set-up/break down sound equipment, chairs, tables, and decorations
- Load and unload items from trucks
- Some light assembly may be required
