La Feria ATLANTA

La Feria ATLANTA

La Feria de Abril is an annual celebration that takes place in Seville. Two weeks after Easter, the city stops to welcome spring with music, dance, and food. The ruffles of elegant dresses, the flowers that adorn giant casetas, the alure of couples locked eye-to-eye while twirling to sevillanas, make this festival one of the most beautiful in Spain. We recognize these elements when we present La Feria ATLANTA, a one-day event that puts flamenco in the context of a Spanish tradition where everyday people dance, sing, and play music together in friendship. In metro Atlanta, we present sevillanas classes and time to dance with friends – and strangers. There are performances by people who love flamenco, including students and professionals, and a flagship performance during the day showcases a resident artist in concert. Traditional Spanish food, kids activities, and other events round out the day in which people of all ages learn about Spanish culture.

Funding for La Feria ATLANTA 2023 is provided by the Fulton County Board of Commissioners. We are grateful for the support of our community in bringing Spanish culture to people who love flamenco.

2023

In 2023, we partnered with Madrid Spanish Taverna, which served delicious tapas and drinks while we played music, sang, and danced.
